Yangon - Bago - Yangon ( 4 Days / 3 Nights )

 

Day 1

Arrival Yangon is main gateway to Myanmar. Meet and transfer to hotel. Yangon half day tour including shopping at Bogyoke Aung San Market, the city's busiest and the most colourful bazaar and pay homage to Shwedagon Pagoda at sunset, one of the wonders of the world.
Overnight at Hotel in Yangon.



Day 2

Breakfast at hotel.
Morning sightseeing: Visit Kaba Aye Pagoda ( World Peace pagoda ), Mahapasana cave, significant for the Sixth World Buddhist Synod, Gems Mart, Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha, photo stop at Royal Lake with the background of the famous Shwedagon Pagoda.
Afternoon sightseeing: National Museum, display of exhibits including Royal Regalia & Lion Throne of last monarch in 19th Century, Sule Pagoda, a landmark in downtown, Botataung Pagoda and Nanthida Jetty to see life on Yangon River.
Overnight at Hotel in Yangon.



Day 3

After breakfast, excursion to Bago, an ancient capital of Mon Kingdom in 15th century. Highlights; Bago Market, Shwemawdaw Pagoda, built over 2000 years, Shwethalyaung reclining Buddha, 55 metres long, Kyaik Pun, four high and huge Buddha Images and Kanbawzathadi, ancient palace site. Back to Yangon.
Overnight at Hotel in Yangon.



Day 4

Transfer to the airport for departure flight.
